Draft for committee approval. These terms are a starting point and should be reviewed and confirmed by the Management Committee before the membership area goes live.
By creating a membership account with TIBS FC ("the club") you agree to the following. Where an account is held by a parent or guardian, "you" includes each child registered on that account.
1. Membership
- Membership is open to players of all abilities. Junior players (under 18) must be registered by a parent or guardian.
- Places in teams are subject to availability and the age-group rules of the relevant league.
- The details you give must be accurate and kept up to date — in particular contact details, dates of birth and FA numbers.
2. Subscriptions and fees
- The club is a not-for-profit organisation run by volunteers. Subscriptions fund pitch upkeep, kit, league affiliation and the clubhouse.
- Subscription amounts and payment dates are set each season by the Management Committee and communicated by team managers.
- Players whose subscriptions are outstanding may be unable to play until payment is arranged. Please speak to your manager or the Treasurer if you are having difficulty — we would rather help than see a child miss out.
3. Codes of conduct
- Players, parents, guardians and spectators agree to follow the club's Codes of Conduct and The FA's Respect programme, available on the Club Documents page.
- Breaches may be dealt with under the club's Disciplinary Procedure.
4. Safeguarding
- The club follows The FA's Safeguarding Children Policy. Our Welfare Officer and how to raise a concern are set out on the Safeguarding page.
- All coaches and volunteers working with children hold the required FA safeguarding qualifications and DBS checks.
5. Medical information
- You agree to tell the club about any disability or medical condition that coaches should be aware of, and to keep this information current through your account.
- This information is held in confidence and shared only with the player's team manager and coaches, the Welfare Officer, and first-aiders where needed.
- In an emergency, the club's volunteers will seek appropriate medical assistance for a player and will contact the parent or guardian as soon as possible.
6. Photography and social media
- The club may take photographs and video at matches, training and events for its website and social media. If you do not want a player to be photographed, tell their team manager and the Welfare Officer in writing.
7. Your data
- The club stores the information you provide to run its teams, comply with league and FA requirements, and keep players safe. It is not sold or passed to third parties for marketing.
- You can view and update your details at any time through your account, and can ask for your account to be closed by emailing admin@tibsfc1997.co.uk.
8. Changes to these terms
- The Management Committee may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated to members, and continued membership after a change means you accept the updated terms.
